Tuition Fees

Compared to other colleges and preparatory schools, Duna International College offers prestigious education for an affordable price. We combine the advantages of an intensive language course and an overall preparatory course to universities for the price of one. It is also worth mentioning, that not only the tuition fee, but also the costs of living are much more affordable in Hungary than in other Western-European countries.

• From the academic year 2024-25 Duna College students in all regular and intensive programs can enjoy a monthly city transport ticket with student discount. (About 10 Euros/month) 
• At Duna College we offer the lowest tuition fees along with the highest quality of education.

Compulsory fees - For the academic year 2024-2025: (All fees are in Euros)

The following fees must be paid prior to visa application. Bank charges on transactions must be supplied by the applicant.

1. Application fee: €200 - compulsory for all programs - Nonrefundable

2. Tuition fees for different programs based on age groups!

A. Regular courses - Under 32 years old (Fall & Spring semesters, commencing in October & November): 

• Pre-medical:  €6900
  
  • Study duration: One academic year
• Pre-engineering, Pre-economic, General business and German language, Pre-masters, & Pre-PhD: €6500
  
  • Study duration: One academic year

B. Regular courses - 32-40 years old (Fall & Spring semesters, commencing in October & November): 

• Pre-medical:  €9000
  • Study duration: One academic year
• Pre-engineering, Pre-economic, General business and German language, Pre-masters, & Pre-PhD: €7500
  • Study duration: One academic year

C. Intensive courses - Under 32 years old (Spring semester only, commencing in January & February):

• Pre-medical: €6900
  
  • Study duration: One academic semester 
• Pre-engineering, Pre-economic, General business and German language, Pre-masters, & Pre-PhD: €6500
  
  • Study duration: One academic semester 

D. Intensive courses - 32-40 years old (Spring semester only, commencing in January & February):

• Pre-medical:  €9000
  • Study duration: One academic semester 
• Pre-engineering, Pre-economic, General business and German language, Pre-masters, & Pre-PhD: €7500
  • Study duration: One academic semester 

E. Pre-High School Program - 15-18 years old : €8500

 

Remarks:

• Major language can be chosen between English and German in all study programs but the core and specialized modules will be taught only in English language.

3. Insurance fee: €250

• Book fee for Pre-medical program: about €400 (subject to change)
• Book fee for Pre-engineering program: about €400 (subject to change)
• Book fee for Pre-economic and pre-master programs: about €250 (subject to change)
• English language training books : about €100 (subject to change) 

Refund Policy:

A. For Non-EU Citizens

1. Prior to visa application - by admission issue: In this case only 50% of the tuition fees is refundable. The application fee (€200) is not refundable as well.

2. After visa approval, prior to landing in Hungary: Firstly, the visa must be cancelled and then just 10% of the tuition fee is refundable only by submitting the revoked visa. The application fee (€200) is not refundable.

3. After visa approval, landing in Hungary and prior to or after enrollment at the College: None of the fees including tuition fee, application fee and insurance fee are refundable.

4. By visa rejection: €400 Euro will be deducted and the rest of the tuition fee will be refundable. The application fee (€200) is not refundable. Refunding will be done only after submission of the official rejection letter from the target consulate.

Important Note: Required time of the refunding also depends on the refund policy of the partner university.

B. For EU Citizens

1. Prior to enrollment at the College: 35% of the tuition fee will be deducted and the rest will be refundable.The application and the accommodation fees are not refundable as well. 

2. After enrollment at the College: None of the fees including tuition fee, application fee, accommodation fee, insurance fee and helper fee are refundable.
